Oral History Interview, Edwin Thomas (2561)

Abstract

In his 2025 interview with Stephanie Rytilahti, Edwin Thomas discusses his role as a graduate student in UW-Madison’s Gender & Women’s Studies (GWS) Department. He speaks of his experience conducting the oral history project for the department’s 50th anniversary and summarizes many of the important viewpoints that came up in his conversations. Thomas also touches on his own opinions of the department and what he hopes to see for its future. This interview was conducted for inclusion into the GWS @ 50 Oral History Project of the UW-Madison Archives & Records Management oral history collection.
