    Abstract
Operating an efficient information technology department can be a challenging task for any business regardless of its size. Less efficiency can negatively impact a business’s ability to reach their short and long term strategic goals. In the health care sector, this can lead to challenges in providing the best quality care to patients. Company ABC faced this challenge, and this research shows the data collection and processes they used to help resolve it. By safely and securely analyzing each step involved in the process flow, they were able to complete this while lowering operational costs and allowing internal information technology staff more time to focus on strategic business project work.
