The purpose of this study was to determine which existing Greater Menomonie Area Chamber of Commerce (GMACC) member programs provide the greatest value and determine member interest in additional programs. The GMACC is a nonprofit membership organization that serves businesses that benefit from programs, events, and other services. The results of the study can help the GMACC deliver programs, events, and services that matter to members while improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the GMACC. A literature review was part of this study and found that few studies have focused on improving the efficiency and effectiveness of nonprofit organizations. The data collection method used for this study was a 21 question online survey that collected quantitative and qualitative data. The survey was sent to 378 GMACC members and had a 20% response rate. The quantitative questions employed a Likert scale for analysis. The qualitative questions were categorized for thematic analysis. The study discusses the analysis of results and recommendations based on the data collected in three categories: 1) Participation in existing programs, events, and services, 2) Ranking importance of existing programs, events, and services, 3) Subject areas of interest for new programs, events, and services.en_US
