    Abstract
This paper examined the implementation process of an internship/co-op program at a two-year post-secondary institution. The purpose of this qualitative research study is to gain insight into what is needed to start, maintain, and develop a meaningful internship/co-op at the two-year post-secondary levels. The results of this study showed that flexible scheduling, personalized learning, having an active advisory board, and up-to-date accreditations, standards, and outcomes are essential to starting, maintaining, and developing a program.
