    Abstract
"There is an intimate relationship between land and water resources. Protecting groundwater, lakes, streams, rivers, and wetlands requires wise land use. Human population growth, climate change, and changes in land use increasingly impact our aquatic environments. This presentation provides an overview of some of the effects that land uses have on the ecological integrity of flowing waters and reports on recent findings of the U.S. EPA’s National Rivers and Streams Assessment. Presenter: Mike Miller, WI Department of Natural Resources (Introductory)"
