Abstract
"Recent perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) surface water results will be discussed and put into context with previous statewide sampling from both lakes and rivers. Along with statewide trends, findings from areas of focused sampling will be presented such as French Island, the Madison Chain of Lakes, and Rhinelander area, including the Town of Stella. Results from horizontal and vertical sampling of PFAS in lakes will also be presented to verify current PFAS sampling techniques for surface water monitoring.
