Abstract

I was inspired to research the impact of Alzheimer’s and Dementia after a car accident left my grandma in the hospital, and my family took on full-time care of my grandpa with Dementia, Jack Hytrek. Seeing the work my family put toward his care and the emotional toll it took on all of us, I wanted to learn more about the disease and find support from those in the community with similar experiences.
