    Abstract
We conducted a research study to explore student perceptions and attitudes regarding the use of generative AI (gen-AI) tools in classes at UW-Superior. Data collected using an anonymous survey revealed that most respondents do not use generative AI to complete coursework, yet 56% of participants use it in their personal life.
