Nonprofit firms often face challenges creating sustainable business models. These challenges are amplified if firms lack the connections and management capabilities to properly oversee their operations. My study sought to analyze the relationship of social capital and networking effects within nonprofit organizations by measuring firms’ reporting quality and board structure and defining and measuring shared value. By exploring the organizations’ dynamic capabilities, I sought to evaluate the impact of firms’ financial performance. Utilizing secondary sources, specifically publicly available tax filings, I evaluated this performance in nonprofit agencies in the United States. This study highlights practical implications for nonprofit organizations and advances research initiatives within entrepreneurial nonprofits.
