Abstract
In her 2022 interview with Lori Lopez, Shannon Thao speaks on her experiences as an undergraduate student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She details her key role in advocating for the development of the APIDA Cultural Center, alongside its proposal process, visions, and contributors. She also shares the ways in which her involvement resulted in personal challenges and growth, and how that has impacted her future. This interview was conducted for the Asian American Studies Project for the UW-Madison Archives & Records Management oral history collection.
