Oral History Interview, Daniel Sanji (2434)
Abstract
In his 2022 interview with Asian American Studies Director Lori Lopez, Daniel Sanji ‘22 discusses his involvement with the APIDA (Asian Pacific Islander Desi American) Student Center as an undergraduate student intern. Sanji discusses the goals and priorities of the center, what the center does for students, and some of the effects that the Covid-19 pandemic had on the center. Sanji also talks about his personal identity, the impact that the Asian American Studies program had on him, his hopes for the future of the APIDA Student Center, and what is next for his career path. This interview was conducted for inclusion into the Asian American Studies Project of the UW-Madison Archives & Records Management oral history collection.
