Abstract
In her 2022 interview with Lori Lopez, Thida Chong shares her experiences and memories as an undergraduate student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, playing a key role in supporting advocacy efforts to develop the APIDA Student Center. She speaks on the struggles to establish space, combating systemic issues on campus, activism for diversity and inclusion, and the impact of anti-Asian sentiment during the pandemic. This interview was conducted for the inclusion into the Asian American Studies Project for the UW-Madison Archives & Records Management oral history collection.
