dc.description.abstractA summary of the need, objectives, methods and results of a 3-state voluntary training and certification program targeting for-hire manure applicators in Illinois, Michigan and Wisconsin. Participating businesses and employees who took part received classroom, field and hand-on training, and in partnership with the insurance industry, were received an average of $923 in premium savings while the program documented an 80% drop in claimable incidents.en_US
