Overall, the results we obtained were slightly different than we expected. The true winning ratio was in trial 5 with a 1:5 Ratio. This makes us think that the added fuel (Sugar) is a contributing factor, however too much sugar can make the reaction slow down. If we were to run this experiment again, we’d try to control the size and shape of the reactant pile better, as well as trying real confectioner’s sugar instead of our makeshift version. We’d also like to test different fuels to see if this affects the yields.en_US
