Manure Spill Response Demonstration Planning Document

Abstract

This document summarizes the goals and purposes of conducting a live action manure spill response demonstration, clearly identifies the roles of each of the agency and non-agency partners and provides an event planning timeline. and summarizes the historical agency roles in developing these events. This document is meant to serve as a planning and guidance roadmap for those who wish to create these types of educational events in Wisconsin. The document was reviewed by risk managers and/or legal experts from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR)
