Abstract
In his 2006 interview sessions with Bob Lange, Bert Adams talks about his time at UW-Madison as a sociology professor beginning in 1965 up to the time of the interview. He also speaks on his early experiences with religion, the growth of the field of sociology, teaching courses on family sociology, living and teaching in Uganda, his work and findings in the field of African studies, and UW campus administration politics. This interview was conducted for inclusion into the UW-Madison Archives and Records Management oral history collection.
