    Abstract
In her 2015 interview, Sue Rosser speaks on her time establishing the Department of Women’s Studies at UW. She speaks about being discriminated against in academia for her pregnancy and motherhood, how she became involved in teaching women’s studies, and condescension she faced over her career path. She speaks about the cross sections between her biology degree and women’s studies, the growth of the women’s studies program at UW, the challenges and victories the program underwent as it developed, and her involvement in the National Women's Health Association and feminist movements.
