Abstract
In their two 2021-2022 interviews with Ellen Hickman and Professor Ian Coxhead, mother and daughter duo Bounyong and Christine Inthachith speak on their flight from Luang Prabang, Laos to Madison, Wisconsin. They also speak about the conditions under which they left in 1980, their resettlement in Madison, opening a restaurant, learning about Madison’s culture, and their dedication to education. This interview was conducted for inclusion into the UW-Madison Archives & Records Management oral history collection.
