    Abstract
The purpose of this study was to examine positive teacher-student relationships and students with learning disabilities (LD) or emotional behavioral disabilities (EBD). Students with LD or EBD in high school were recruited from their special education classroom at an urban high school in a Midwestern state. This study sought to understand what kind of relationships students with LD and EBD had with their teachers. This project involved students with LD and EBD completing a short survey questionnaire using pencil and paper.
