Oral History Interview, Queer Narratives (1312)
Abstract
In their May 2012 interview with Ariel Eisenberg, members of the group Queer Narratives, talked about the forming of the group in 2008. Kiki, Admiral, Sabra, Kathlean, and Mark all talked about where they heard about the group and when they joined. They also talk about the writing of stories, sharing them, and receiving feedback from the group members. The members also all talked about difficult times of not knowing who they were and what their identity was but being part of Queer Narratives provided them with a safe space to grow and communicate with others. This interview was conducted for inclusion into the UW-Madison Archives & Records Management oral history collection.
