Abstract
In two 2017 sessions, James "Jim" Dennis details his life as an Art History professor, instructor of history of American painting and sculpture and printmaking, traveler, researcher, and student. He is best known for restoring the Jacobs House on the West side of Madison, Frank Lloyd Wright's first Usonian house, now an UNESCO Heritage site. This interview was conducted for inclusion into the UW-Madison Archives & Records Management oral history collection.
