Abstract
In a 1990 interview, economist Burton Weisbrod recalls his time as a UW-Madison, where he was a professor and researcher from 1964 to 1990. He speaks about his research in social welfare economics and on his development of an economics of human resources course. He also mentions more in depth his studies on financial subsidies for education and equity, along with campus growth and climate in the ‘70s and ‘80s and the structure of the university. This interview was conducted for inclusion into the UW-Madison Archives & Records Management oral history collection.
