    Abstract
In their interview with Merrily Stover on August 29, 2022, Celia Stover-Hansen and Sue Stover talk about their memories of living in the UW-Madison Tent Colony as children in the ‘50s and ‘60s. They describe how they remember their tent setup and the general layout of the Tent Colony, as well as some of the competitions that took place there. They recall various memories of their time in the Tent Colony, including a near-death incident Sue had by the pier on Lake Mendota, before discussing topics such as their family’s responsibilities around the Colony and the Colony’s various rules. This interview was conducted for the Tent Colony Project and is housed within the Oral History Collection at the UW-Madison Archives.
