Doing What We Like: I woke up this morning and foμnd my head dead, glanced in the mirror and went back to bed. Then a feeling came over me pen in hand, I wandered out to our kitchen and took a look around. Doc on the floor, the brothers in their cribs, and littered wastes, spoils from the night before, lay in front of me. I stopped, thought awhile and twisted one up. I pondered what is it all about? Halfway gone and it's getting kind of gooey, now my mind clears maybe I should drink a few beers. Yes ...... Yes, it was one little, two little, three little Leines, four little, five little, six little Leines. That game end-ed after the fifthteen inning and I was sent to the dugout. I can't remember much after this woman said she would make a carrot cake with me. Really Diane, does a duck need an umbrella? I feel free people, and damn I want you to know it. I hope all of you can get the feeling for life this year. Wow! ...... maybe it's Menomonie, but behold, is not the scene here one you will remember? Check it out! Walk around! Get into it! Life is out there, go for it. If you have confidence in yourself, nothing will hold you back. Really, DO WHAT YOU LIKE! The impracticality of conformity is known only by those who seek true self ex-pression. True self expression, that is what life and The Wolske's Bay Star are all about. Self expression! The editors, writers, and helpers at the Star are loving the comments you have given us and the satisfaction of accomplishing a self expression. At first we thought we should be an underground reality. Soon we learned that we could DO WHAT WE LIKE out there in front of everyone. You can too! We have accomplished a true self expression. I am damn proud, and I speak for the others, that we have DONE WHAT WE LIKE. You people have made it happen for us and your support was essential. You have given the entire staff a true college memory that will live with us for life. The ride is over and I put out the rest and I think about crawling back into my nest. I have spoke my piece and told you what life and the Star are all about-SELF EXPRESSION and it happened at Stout. The following issue is a compilation of: DOING WHAT WE LIKE.
