    Abstract
Editor's Note: Prometheus has come a long way since the student creative arts journal first appeared at Stout. For 1987 we have moved into the computer age by designing the book entirely on an electronic screen, and doing all the typesetting on a laser printer. This resulted in lower production costs, which made it possible to print more books this year at last year's costs. In addition, this issue is one of the few to ever be produced with a two-color cover. These improvements provide a better publication that can be enjoyed by even more readers. We would like to thank the following judges for the great job they did in selecting the 1986-87 award winners: Art - Rob Price and Charlie Wimmer Poetry - Michael Levy and Melanie Richards Fiction - Virginia Wolf and Sue Beckham Non-Fiction - Robert Moran and Janet Polansky Photography - Robert Meier and Paul DeLong I would also like to thank Dan Riordan, Joe Krier, Kim Steen, and Andy Bear for all of their technical expertise and brainpower. Finally, I would like to express my appreciation to our advisor Warren Lang and Dave, Mike, and Tim for all of their hard work.
