    Abstract
    Ross Allen grew up in Winneconne, WI and worked on his family's hog and vegetable farm throughout his childhood. Ross went to college not only to get a higher education but to get out of farming. In his interview, Ross describes growing up on a farm and why he didn’t want to pursue farming. However, he discusses foreseeing a hobby farm in the future.
