Oral History Interview, David Williams (1672)
Abstract
In his November 2017 interview with Troy Reeves, David Williams detailed his thoughts and memories as an undergraduate student on the UW-Madison campus during the anti-Vietnam War protests starting in 1968. Williams spoke of the time period between 1968 and the mid-1970s and on the following topics: UW-Madison, The Battle of Mifflin, leadership of student activist/protest groups, and the Vietnam Era on UW-Madison’s campus. Williams also commented on his involvement in anti-Vietnam War protests in Washington, D.C. This interview was conducted for inclusion into the UW-Madison Oral History Program.
