    Abstract
This study examines the determinants of intra-industry wage and employment differentials at the Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) level. This study looks at six relevant factors: corporate tax rate, cost of living, education, governor's political party, civilian labor force, and unemployment rates. Past studies have found that city size, cost of living, education, etc. cause wage variation (Bamford 2021, Black 2011, Castells-Quintana 2020, Ma 2016).
