| dc.description.abstract | In his three 2014 interviews with Troy Reeves, Larry Meiller talked about his life in Wisconsin, including his five decades at UW-Madison. He spoke of the time period between the 1940s and 2010s and of the following topics: Vietnam Era at UW-Madison; Cottage Grove, WI; Madison; University of Wisconsin Madison Agricultural Journalism (also Life Sciences Journalism); UW-Madison Athletics; UW-Extension; Wisconsin Public Radio; WSUM; the Wisconsin Idea. He talked about his K-6 years at Hope School, a one-room schoolhouse, as well as his year at the University of the West Indies. He also discussed his teaching experiences; his involvement with WSUM; and his research in community development.
