Finding Aid for Margaret Foote Papers, 1969-1973
Abstract
This collection contains black and white, glossy photographs taken by UW-Stout Tower and other media relations staff. Photographs are arranged in a flat box in a similar order to how they were donated. Dates and descriptions were not provided. Some photographs are included within issues of the Tower Yearbooks from 1971-1974, and all the photographs were taken by UW-Stout students and staff for promotional and yearbook purposes. Photographs are currently being processed.
Subjects for the photographs include: Music Performances, Student Life, Greek Life, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Tower Yearbook Staff, Lake Menomin, Menomonie, Bars, and Recreation.
Also included in the collection is one Stout State t-shirt from the year 1969, Foote’s freshman year. It says, ‘Stout State 76’.

Description
Margaret (Maggie) Ann Foote is a 1973 graduate of UW-Stout’s School of Education. Foote received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and was very active on campus. Notably, she worked on the Tower Yearbook staff in 1971-1974. After graduation, Foote worked on recruitment materials and alumni publications, including UW-Stout Outlook.
