Abstract

The lack of corrosion processes and mitigation and corrosion control management within Company XYZ has affected the quality of proper planning due to the lackof information and resources available toand within the company. Third party contractors to both the client and Company XYZ are responsible for the design and overall installation of the specifications set forth by the client and the industry. In turn, there is a disconnect between the management of corrosion processes and mitigation and corrosion control,and the installation of these control measures.Corrosion mitigation technology, along with the integration of corrosion decisions and practices within an organizational management system, has the potential to determinethe long-term impacts of corrosion management techniques used in the construction of a pipeline. NACE (National Association of Corrosion Engineers) International corrosioneducation and training providesan advantage to companies who utilizesthe material provided by NACE International to construct and manage current and future projects.
