    Abstract
    Tape recorded interview conducted on March 8, 1984, by Ellen Lanahan with John M. Jamok, an international student from Nigeria, at the University of Wisconsin--Stout. Mr. Jamok received his Bachelor of Science degree in Vocational Trade & Industrial Education and his Master's degree in Vocational Education from UW-Stout. The interview includes discussion on his life and education in Nigeria, new experiences and problems encountered in coming to the United States and to Menomonie, racial and ethnic discrimination, social activities at Stout, his classes at Stout, the International Relations Club, the death of Sani Tela (a fellow Nigerian student who was killed behind a bar in Menomonie), and relations with other students including international students, Black Americans, and white Americans.
