    Abstract
    Tape recorded presentation given by Jenny Jacobs at an annual meeting of the Dunn County Historical Society about 1965. She discusses a diptheria epidemic, home front effort during the Civil War, a lecture in Menomonie given by Booker T. Washington, bob sleigh rides, school days, rural mail delivery, religion, a temperance organization, a description of her family home, folk medicine, and social life and recreation. The tape continues with a discussion of the goals and purposes of the Dunn County Historical Society.
