Abstract
In his July 2010 interviews with Andrea Rottman, Dan Curd details his work with Wisconsin state assemblyman David Clarenbach in the passage of the Wisconsin gay rights bill. He chronicles his work with a number of politicians in Wisconsin and else-where and explains the impact of the bill on the Madison gay and lesbian community. In the process, he shares his perspectives on a number of prominent Wisconsin legislators. This interview was conducted as part of Andrea Rottman’s thesis research and has been submitted for inclusion into the UW-Madison Oral History Program.
