    Abstract
    A tape recorded interview of John Sabol conducted in October 1976 by Ray Barello. Mr. Sabol was twice elected to the Michigan House of Representatives before coming to Stout in 1964. Mr. Sabol taught economics, government, and history at Stout until his retirement in 1976. In 1970 he was elected Outstanding Teacher. The interview includes discussion of his life in Michigan, politics and the Depression, the Vietnam War, Stout-Menomonie relations, students in the late 1960's, Stouts' mission, his philosophy of technology, and miscellaneous subjects.
