dc.descriptionThe Educational Teleproduction Center began operating on the Stout campus in the spring of 1976. The Center, located in the Communications Center Building, enabled the University to produce programming for broadcast on WHWC-TV, channel 28, a state operated public television station located north of Menomonie, as well as other television outlets. One of the earliest productions was on community profiles produced in 1976. Slides of people, buildings, and activities of communities located in western Wisconsin. Arrangement is alphabetical by town.en_US
