Stout University Foundation.
The Stout University Foundation is an independent, non-profit organization which was formed in 1962 by a group of alumni, faculty, and other friends of Stout to solicit, hold, and disburse funds for the benefit of the University. It is governed by a 16 member Board of Directors, which is responsible for soliciting funds, seeing that they are properly accounted for, investing them in a prudent manner, and expending them in accordance with the purpose of the Foundation and the needs of the University. All members of the Board serve as volunteers without pay.
