Thanks to the work of passionate eco-activists and researchers across generations, we now know the how’s and why’s of cause, impact and prevention. The work is still ongoing, but to take care of the future, we need to be aware of what’s already been done! If you enjoy discovering new things about the environment and learning methods that can help to preserve it efficiently, join us for a session with American ecologist Shari L. Wilson. You will get a glimpse of how ecology is regulated in the U.S., and discover how these practices emerged! During the session, you will hear about Environmental Laws in the United States and uncover parallels to the situation in Ukraine, reviewing cases that catalysed the creation of many regulations that help preserve our precious natural resources today. We will highlight issues connected to water and toxins as well as forestry through an introspective that dives deep into the rich history of U.S. Environmental Law and the essential role of eco-activism by citizens.
