Finding Aid for Library Accession Records, 1909-1962

Abstract

This collection includes records of the books received and added to the library collection. Information contained includes author, title, publisher, vendor, cost, remarks, and an accession number. Books which were later withdrawn are also indicated. The practice of assigning accession numbers to library books was discontinued in 1962. Accession numbers are written on the back of the last page of the books.
