    Description
    Orv Nelson was born in Grasston, Minnesota. He received a bachelor's degree from Stout in 1956 and advanced degrees from the University of Minnesota. In 1963, he joined the staff at the University of Wisconsin-Stout. He held several positions, but Orv was best known on campus for his ability to write grants.
