dc.descriptionThe Inter Greek Council was formed in 1975. The IGC acted as the coordinating body for all non-honorary Greek organizations on the University of Wisconsin-Stout campus. Its main purpose was to provide for the general welfare of all Greeks, to promote Greek awareness among the campus community, and to facilitate communication between fraternities and sororities. The organization ceased to exist in 2000.en_US
