XYZ Company has seen an increase in finished goods holds for unacceptable oxygen levels at Plant A. Due to the increase in holds, Plant A has formed a Six Sigma team utilizing the DMAIC format to investigate and correct the unacceptable oxygen holds. By reducing the amount of holds unacceptable oxygen levels, Plant A will see a decrease in costs associated to extra labor to rework the finished goods holds and production orders will be met to satisfy the buyer's expectations and demands.
