Capacity constraint analysis

Abstract

Company XYZ did not know if they had the necessary capacity to produce the new business they were awarded. This study analyzed capacity and demand data on Company XYZ's injection molding machines to determine utilization rates of the viable presses in consideration to produce the new business. With supporting concepts and principles from existing research, in addition to the provided data, recommendations were made that allowed Company XYZ to meet the new business demand.
