    Abstract
    The purpose of this study was to determine the best way to onboard and train new employees, as well as bring current employees up to speed, with the organization's goals and vision. By having a formalized onboarding program in place employees of Grand Bluff Running will have their onboarding needs met and the employees will be able to properly be integrated into the organization. Integrating an onboarding program into the organization had to the potential to increase retention and improve service to the customers. The research conducted includes a survey to collect important onboarding data from three different organizations of various sizes and numbers of employees as well as a literature review of best practices. An onboarding training program for Grand Bluff Running, was developed.
