This poster is a visual representation of some of the information I have learned in my transformative learning experience as a Doctoral Student in Educational Sustainability my first year. As a seasoned educator, mother, and citizen of Gaia I was not prepared for the shift towards an ethic of research and pedagogy that this first year would bring. My main problem would be narrowing all the information and ideas that I have obtained through not only my teachers but my cohort (3) and the cohorts preceding ours. The amount of dialogue and sharing with like minded and passionate people coming together to make a necessary and much needed change has been inspiring and moving to me. The mandala was used to represent all of us and how I have grown through the circle, also looking back on last year’s meeting when Dr. O’Neil had us all come together in a circle to share all we learned and grew from the experience. The circle will grow in the next couple of years.en_US
