Due to the Syrian civil war and the rise of the Islamic State, millions of individuals have been displaced and are now actively seeking asylum in Western Europe. Because of recent terrorist attacks in Paris and Brussels, there is a growing unease with the influx of migrants as they bring multicultural perspectives, and Europeans are now associating immigration with terrorism. Thus, the purpose of this project is to determine the extent to which multiculturalism and the European Union, including non-members, will either co-exist or disintegrate.en
