Abstract
In his 2005 interview sessions, Dr. Thomas C. Meyer describes his medical career at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Taking place between the early to mid 1900s to 2005, Dr. Meyer discusses the topics of his childhood and family, his life spent in South Africa, his medical training in pediatrics and cardiology, his international medical education, his continuing medical education program, establishing a Department of Family Medicine at UW Health, his medical career at UW-Madison Medical School, his many awards and honors, and his retirement activities. This interview was conducted for inclusion in the UW-Madison Archives and Records Management oral history collection
