    Abstract
This paper discusses the experience of a knowledge-based organization in the pharmaceutical industry in building a fundamental capability for implementing strategic transformation. The organization developed and implemented a methodology called Fast Cycle Change (FCC) that maximizes the "implementability" of change initiatives. That is, FCC ensures that change initiatives are initiated so that high impact can be realized rapidly, with high probability of success, and with minimal resources.
