Abstract: Nancy Becknell speaks about her early music training, education at Oberlin College, graduate training at Northwestern University, and Cadenza Club as well as other professional affiliations. She talks about her career at UW, musical participation in Madison, John Barrows, memorable students, career highlights, the student protests of the 1960's and 1970's, her husband Art Becknell, and the future of the School of Music.
