Abstract
In his 4/4/1994 interview with Julie Dunbar, Dr. Robert Petzold discusses his career path in music education, starting with his decision to attend Milwaukee State Teacher’s College (MSTC) due to the Depression. He details his teaching in Cuba City, being drafted in WWII, and earning a master's degree in musicology, and copmleting his PhD in teacher education at UW-Madison. Petzold highlights his experiences at MSTC and UW Madison, emphasizing changes in curriculum and faculty over the years. This interview was conducted for inclusion in the School of Music 1994 Seminar Oral History Project.
